All freight is prepaid unless you make arrangements for your own freight company.
Small orders will be shipped via UPS Ground.
Often, the shipping calculator will overestimate shipping costs. When this happens, I issue you a store credit or make an adjustment before I charge your credit card. The final shipping calculation is based off the actual weight after your order is packed.
Pallet/Gaylord orders will be shipped via R&L Carriers or UPS Freight unless you
make arrangements with your own carrier.
R&L provides extensive coverage in the lower 48 states. I have a 65% discount with R&L,
they do not charge a liftgate fee (other carriers charge up to $150 for a liftgate), and their residential delivery fee is only $30. For shipping estimates, go to www.rlcarriers.com. Our zip is 34223 and our discount is 65%. Use rate class 85. Basically they charge as if the pallet weighs 1000 lbs. and prorates weight per pallet over 1000 lbs.
I recently negotiated a better rate with UPS Freight. I have a 70% discount and they met the free liftgate service and $30 residential fee that R&L offers. You can get rate estimates at www.upsfreight.com. Our zip is 34223 and the discount is 70%. Use rate class 85. Be sure to check the boxes for Liftgate and/or Residential if applicable.
International Shipping
International shipments are sent via the United States Postal Service. As of May 14, 2007 USPS will no longer offer USPS Economy (Surface) Parcel Post service. Shipping options are USPS Airmail Parcel Post or USPS Express Mail Service (EMS).
